Message from Consul General of the State of Kuwait
TEXT (February 25, 2010): On the occasion of 49th National Day and 19th Liberation Anniversary of the State of Kuwait I am honoured to felicitate His Highness the AMIR of The State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, and the people of the Kuwait on this glorious occasion.



A look at the State of Kuwait
ARTICLE (February 25, 2010): Islam is the official religion of the State of Kuwait. Since Arabic is the language of the Holy Quran, "the Islamic Constitution", Arabic is the official language of the State of Kuwait, as stated in Kuwait Constitution. This can be attributed to the fact that founders of the Kuwaiti Constitution realized the significance of the Arabic language as a factor of the unity and coherence among Arab countries.



Introduction on doing business in Kuwait
ARTICLE (February 25, 2010): The basic premise for carrying out business in Kuwait is identified in the Articles (23) and (24) of the Kuwaiti Commercial Code. Article (23) of the Code states that non-Kuwaiti citizens may not pursue any commercial activities in Kuwait, unless having a Kuwaiti partner.
